What is my Student Account?

A Student Account is created for every band program student. It works like a piggy bank, in that each student can get money credited to the account, and can take money out of the account to pay for band-related expenses.

How does money get put into my Student Account?

As a participating band program student, whenever you participates in many of the Mustang Band fundraisers, the amount that you earn (a percentage of the profit) is placed in your account. As you participate in more fundraisers, monies are added to your account.

Which fundraisers add money to my Student Account?  

Many of the Mustang Band fundraisers generate profits that can be attributable to individual students. Other fundraisers are of a more general nature and benefit the Boosters General Fund. Details about each of our fundraisers can be found on the Fundraiser Descriptions page. Those fundraisers that are marked with a special "$" are the ones which credit Student Accounts. 

How do I get money out of my Student Account?

As monies accumulate, you can request money from your account to be used for any band related fees (fundraising expectations, fees, lessons, equipment, music camps, trips, etc.). All you need to do is complete a Student Account Refund Request Form, which can be downloaded here or which is available in the Communication Center across from our Directors' office. This form should completed and deposited in the band mailbox in the Communication Center. You may also e-mail the Secretary of Student Accounts at Exec-StudentAccts@mustangbandboosters.com with your request.  Upon approval, a reimbursement shall be made and that amount shall be deducted from the Student Account balance.

What if I'm a senior or if I decide to quit the band program?

If you are a senior or a student who will not be returning to the band program the following year, you must make your final requests for reimbursement by May 15th.

How do I know how much money is in my Student Account?

On a monthly basis, the Student Account totals are posted on the bulletin board near the band room for review. For your convenience, the Student Account balances, listed by Student ID Number, are available by clicking here. Current Student Account Balances
